How do I graft a dracaena massangeana commonly known as a corn plant that has grown too tall?

the one i have i just cut it down to the size i want it and the piece i cut i put in water and now i have two. after a few months it started to get roots on it. cool

  1. So you cut it then the top half you put in water and it rooted? Or did you put it in soil and water it.
    I'm thinking about cutting one of the stems off mine so it will branch more and be bushier, but also so I can plant the cut of stem(the top) how should I do this? Should I wait for Spring?
